The E-Accountability Foundation announces the

'A for Accountability' Award

to those who are willing to whistleblow unjust, misleading, or false actions and claims of the politico-educational complex in order to bring about educational reform in favor of children of all races, intellectual ability and economic status. They ask questions that need to be asked, such as "where is the money?" and "Why does it have to be this way?" and they never give up. These people have withstood adversity and have held those who seem not to believe in honesty, integrity and compassion accountable for their actions. The winners of our "A" work to expose wrong-doing not for themselves, but for others - total strangers - for the "Greater Good"of the community and, by their actions, exemplify courage and self-less passion. They are parent advocates. We salute you.

Winners of the "A":

Johnnie Mae Allen
David Possner
Dee Alpert
Aaron Carr
Harris Lirtzman
Hipolito Colon
Larry Fisher
The Giraffe Project and Giraffe Heroes' Program
Jimmy Kilpatrick and George Scott

Francesco Portelos and His "Victim Complex"
Francesco Portelos, running for President of the United Federation of Teachers, but calling for the faces of black principals to be placed on a bottle of syrup or next to the telephone number for the NYC Poison Control Center, emailed a mutual friend after my previous post and told her to demand that I change my story because he didn't say anything like that, only his loyal followers did. I'm not buying this.

   Francesco Portelos
Francesco Portelos and His "Victim Complex"
by Betsy Combier

Francesco Portelos wants to be written about. He wants to be on the internet. He believes he is a star, a beacon of light shining the way for all the disgruntled teachers or staff who have a gripe against anyone else. Francesco praises people for speaking out against anyone who has done something wrong, or who is rumored to have done something.... and so here I am.

Mr. Portelos is responsible - this is my opinion - for the most vulgar, degrading, libelous and uninvestigated claims about people that any person I know has ever seen or heard of. As I wrote in my prior post EDITORIAL: Cyberstalker Francesco Portelos and His Blame Game Must Be Stopped, I find his degrading comments about Principals and administrators offensive. I refuse to have any interaction with people who choose to write or say insults about people they do not know anything about. I have an equal amount of disdain for comments sent from "anonymous" emailers who feel good about being insulting.

If you want to say something online, say it and put your name on it. You have the right to express your opinion but beware of the effect on your own character. It seems to me that Francesco thinks he is doing NYC a great service, by writing vulgar insults and threatening people. He feels he is heard.

Really? He had a Workplace Bullying Conference on Saturday, and maybe 20 people came, to hear about Francesco's rise to fame as a whistleblower and a dad. He is no whistleblower.

Francesco Portelos emailed a mutual friend our ours and told her that she should tell me that the comments about my being an "evil, fucking cunt" only came from his loyal followers Lucio Celli and Christina Vickers, not him.

I guess the comment from his loyal follower Robert Provenza, that I must not "fuck with Bobby - or mother nature" (whatever that means) had nothing at all to do with Francesco, either.

Nope, I'm not buying this.

Stay away from Francesco Portelos, unless you want to put your career, friends, and family in danger.
