I am complaining about, and offended by, Superintendents that are like Brian DeSorbe. Brian DeSorbe in particular, uses taxpayers money to bring in Administrator owned Educational Consultant Firms to teach teachers how to read and write essays. I scored 300 on both the essay portions of the LAST and the ATSW, the highest score possible. I do not need Brian DeSorbe saying teachers like myself are NOT QUALIFIED to teach by his standards. The Administrator owned Educational Consultant Firms also teach teachers how to write rubrics. I was already doing so because that is the way we were taught at Queens College. I also received permanent certification in Family and Consumer Science. Yet, Brian DeSorbe insists I am not qualified by his standards. If the Ny State Dept of Education says I am Highly Qualified, can Superintendents like Brian DeSorbe, who are certified by the same entities as I, say I am not qualified and need to attend his Administrator Owned Educational Consultant Firms?? And can Superintendents like Brian DeSorbe blacklist me for questioning the need for these Educational Consultant Firms???? And I have reported Brian DeSorbe for many seemingly unethical goings on at the Amityville School District 11701. I was Certified February 1, 2003 and blacklisted June of 2003. Is this business as usual in education?????

Our United States Public Schools are being run like organized crime. Complete with family bosses and soldiers.

School districts are kept in "the family" with the intermarriages of the powers that be very simiar to the feudal plantations of the Dark Ages. And we are in the Dark Ages right now. Our education system is obsolete with the Old Guard (Corruption) hanging on for dear life. One of the things going on in education right now are the Administrator Owned Educational Consultant Firms: (the equivilant of Doctors owning Radiology, MRI, and Mammography Labs.)

Superintendent's are screaming about how the teachers are unqualified to teach. The Superintendents then get the State Dept. Of Education to use taxpayers money to pay for these Administrator Owned Educational Consultant Firms to come in as faculty development, to teach teachers how to read, write, and do arithmatic. The taxpayers think the Administrators are addressing the problem of low test scores in the district. It is really all about making money. The same way the mafia keeps their own neighborhood clean, but run drug and prostitution rings in other neighborhoods. Our Schools are going down the drain.

There is no teacher shortage. Superintendents purposely keep a high turnover of teachers to prevent them from making tenure thus moving up the pay scale. It is all about money. Not education.
